password recovery?

don´t ask why but i need a pw for a 7-zip-file
i downloaded ARCHPR4.10 (ElcomSoft´s Advanced Archive Password Recovery) but free version only allows me to search for 4 digits max :(

any tips how i can get that pw? anyone got a regostration code for that tool? thx 4 help in advance!

not bad...but very old version..unfortunately the registration code doesnt work anymore :(

Just brute force it with a list of pw's. Try Hydra.

Have you tried searching the file name in Google...?
Why did you even download a file that's password protected that didn't come with a pass in the first place T_T
Sometimes they have a URL on the file name, that's most likely the pass

zip/rar files often have quite long passwords (url of the website for example). so finding out the password via brute force can take years. i would rather try to find out the password on another way (try google).
