studies

I'm in my last year of high school and next year I have to go to univesity, my strong courses are economics, french, english and dutch ( no german ). I'm eventually gonna end with a master in journalistics but i haven't yet decided about the 3 / 4 years before it. I've thought about office management, applied languages ( ? :d ), or a 100 % theoretical 3 year languages course at uni

Office management is to become a secretary ( girls ), or a manager in general ( guys ), this is discriminating but that's pretty much the way it is


I need some people who have studied / are studying these things and are willing to give me some info about it

ye I thought about doing that ( you get it in your third year as specilisation ), seems really challenging but as you already said, office management is really easy, seems like a waste of "talent" :[ though I say so myself

office managment is really izi, but still you have a lot of "work" during the year...

mate of me is doing eventmanagment, really nice he said and your future profession looks very nice i think :)

if u wanna die hard go pro , go do taal & letterkunde, seems very boring to me though, and i study history so ... :p

worst thing there is tbh! event management..have u ever worked as an event manager? rely on so many (stupid) ppl, getting good promotion ppl, telephone 24/7 (only stupid things), try to convince your chief that u need more budget etc etc... its not a thankful job....u cant do things right, u just can do them wrong it seems -_-

with such a degree, you start holding events (partys, small festivals, np to find sponsors and once you make name ... U go girl

yes? thats the same ,just bigger and even more stressy...what u must have: good contacts. u dont need a degree for it :x

but well...i can only talk about my experience, u might have made better ones :)

university degree is kinda standard nowadays...u wont earn much $ just because of the fact u got a degree i tell u.

ye ofc not, but anyways it gives you a bigger start salary, and if u are successful in what you do the money will come. ofc money isn't the most important thing :)

I am a student of 4th year of economic sciences. My current specialization is international finance. I find it very interesting, especially stock-exchange & capital market subjects.

@ management there are simply too many people educated in it.

@ journalism - you can be a journalist without studying it.
