ET Sound Problem :<

Hello, I have a sound problem in ET

When i open et and connect to a server my sound is really "strange", I don't hear nade clicks etc and the footsteps are really echo and if i shoot its really "bassy" if I do /snd_restart its ok till people callvote another map then I can't get it normal again.
What can I do ?

u got some wrong mixahead, mixprestep values or you got onboard sound which is basicly total crap and needs higher values. Just read the article above, it has everything you need to understand the s_variables.

try that its not rly hard :o
or you should put s_khz 22, always works for me !
go to options-->system-->sound quality i think :>
in et ofcurse !

mixahead / mixprestep values are to low causing sounds to be dropped. make a seperate sound.cfg and make sure it runs trough an autoexec.cfg in your etpro folder.

its that s_khz cmd, just copy all the s_ cmd's iin your old cfg and add to a .cfg and name it sound.cfg or w/e and then /exec sound.cfg.. what i did 8D

its something with mixstep in your cfg , i had teh same.
