Triple buffering

Do you have it turned on? It allegedly adds some delay, but makes things smoother, can't decide what to use :c

Can u use this on any computer or only on dual cores?
i just scanned your profile thinking

"wow not made a journal for a while"

:Z

idk
It's negligible assuming your computer is half decent, but it depends on the specific code and how efficient it is. For ET and older games I would've it on, but for newer games off (if I was struggling for fps).
I wouldn't call it neglible. The view can be up to two frames after the renderer, which is 33 ms @ 60 Hz.

Off but i'll try to switch it on
doesn't it only affect you if you use vsync?
try r_finish 1
is there a command for it?

i can put it on in my VGA drivers

Turned off
off
imo using maxfps 100 on a 120Hz monitor is much worse than turning triple buffering off :o
I just wanted to point out that there are settings that affect the smoothness much more than triple buffering (as long as you don't use vsync).
