Yeh, tomorrow we're gonna record some serious noise with our band (Reign of War).
We have recording equipment (including professional microphones, mixpanels, software, etc), but we need good tips on how to make this go as good as possible, and also some tips on how to / what's the best way to afteredit every recorded sample would be nice :)
From software, I have:
Cubase 4
Audioforge 8
Soundbooth CS3
Also, we'll be using a metronome @ headset while recording all the samples, so it'll all flow together rly good :>
Random bandphoto with 3 of our dudes, the 2 guitar players and me:

You shouldnt record like: I record 20sec of this cuz its all the time the same and i just loop it with my software - fail. Record all the instrument parts in the same length like they should be in the final mp3.
