Dude, trust me, you DON'T wanna discuss with me about Epica. It's my favorite band, I see em like 10-15 times a year live, I even know a few of the bandmembers personal, and I'm one of their greater fans.

ye, u don't know from what country they are, I see them 15 times a year live (in 4 days again) I know a few bandmembers personally, I have every album including special editions, dvd's and the score, I have posters on my room, I'm wearing an epica hat and sweatarmbands every day, the first thing I automatically turn on when I turn my pc on is epica, I have every epica pic possible on my pc, I'm semi-active on the epica forums.

well, since I listen every album several times a day now for a few years already, and I know every single part of lyrics (including guestsinger's names and from what bands they are), yes, I guess I've also listened it thousands of times. + the analising, I do that standardly since I'm a decent musician and music is my life ;)

hah, true. I just appreciate classic music with the "real band" with it plus female singer. and when the music is a bit progressive (not too much) and they've totally random solutions (great ones, artistic) and very nice contrast(Simone's voice vs Mark's grunts), it's just perfect.

As you might know, Mark played in AF and composed all their songs what are criticizing the religions. (ofc he composed others, but escpecially those)

Epica is from Holland, and also one of the best bands around imo :)

We have lots of musicschools in here yes, thus many educated musicians. I guess that contributes a rather large part to our amount of musicians ^^
