Make a .rar

make the rar pwd protected???

right click on the file in winrar and tik password protect it

download 7zip, make rar/zip/7z and there is an option, encryption, then Password

Open the .rar-file, right click the file and you'll find a option called "Set default password" or something like that :)

You can enable Windows File Encryption somewhere

you know its very easy to hack those rar protected passwords :<
for what you need it?
if its for files in your computer then "FolderAccess" will do the job.
if you want password for files to send them to other ppl then the rar thingy should do the job
