Just got kicked from a 6v6 because we wouldn't change packets.

...

Can you make a sticky forum thread please, explaining how the q3 netcode works? This is fucking ridiculous.



To top it all off, a thirteen year old told me I was stupid and not going anywhere in life while telling me that 100 maxpackets is 100 packets sent to the server...

so 100 is no good if person uses 125 fps : / What's the right amount.

Btw there are players who believe rate 25000 and maxpackets 100 are in the CB rules, they don't care about configs restrictions. OMG.

if u have 125fps and 100 packets u will lag, coz the game can only send 63 packets @ 125fps or something blablabla

I see your point but if I had the solution to the problem ie changing my packets so we could play I'd do it sooner than not do it and create a journal whining about the opponent.

I play with 125 fps and 100 maxpackets, and I'm perfectly aware that I'm not actually sending 100 packets but something around 63.
