Guten tag,
For my upcoming German exam (oral) I'll need to discuss a subject in german (duuh) which is really typically Germany. It can really be no matter what.. except sports.. so no random Schumacher or Ullrich stories... No sports!
I dont want any stories about a how you prepare a freeking bradwurst or things like thats but really something fascinating which is really easy to talk about for some minutes.
Some things I was already thinking about:
- The yerman passion for cars. Every German has a BEAST-car, yet they don't really seem to care about a nice house for example
- Yerman beers :O)
- Bavaria -> Lederhosen,..
Thanks in advance.

omg :DDDD

Here are some statistics about Germans - originally published in SPIEGEL 17/2008:

(that's also what my host family in England told me :D :)
Nevertheless, I agree with your opinion on Germans and their cars. Although I personally don't like it, but that's maybe a reason of my job as a banker - there are better ways to invest your money xD
Wikipedia says it's a part of germany
Aber sone alte, fette Türkin mit Kopptuch im 7er ist schon lustig. ^^
but i really cant stand their accent and the "lederhosen" stuff, because a lot of people in the world think all germans are wearing "lederhosen", especially the americans, since most of them were based in bavaria after WW2.
i dont hate them :) i just dont like that stuff =)
you can't trust me since I'm coming from bavaria though =(
EDIT: www.bier.de
all you need bout german beers
One sidemark is the fact that it is fucking hard to find a German beer! So if you would take one with you, you should start looking for it on time!
conclusion => barely any yerman beer to be found!
We don't get to know any of your beers simply because we got plenty of kinds ourselves..
So prolly germany refuses to import any belgian beers for the same reason..
