hello, I have one question about the "3D REFRESH RATE OVERRIDE" option.

Since I couldnt get 85hz in archlord I enforced that option to 85, it is working great, but...

Now in ET my fps drops down to 0(freezes for a short period) or 10-30 with irregular intervals and it is quite anoying, but that was only after I locked the hz, or it could be that I used the wc3 anti cheat thingy?

But somehow it feels nicer with it locked in ET, it feels like I get quite a lot of more accurate hits.

Someone with the knowledge pm meh what to do.

for hz lock better use this progy called refreshlock and set the hz to 85 at all resolutions u use. might work

What do you mean by '85hz in archlord'? Surely it's just a case of either using their predefined limit (which you wouldn't be able to get past), or changing the variable which caps the fps to your screen refresh rate and setting whatever you want.

It's more likely that you've just been running the game at a lower refresh rate than your screen can manage, and thus why correcting the issue sharpens the image quality and feels more accurate.

My settings in ET, despite the fact I can easily get 125+ FPS, and yes I'm also running a Radeon card.

tbh i don't see a difference if i run ET with

125 fps
60 Hz

on my 22" TFT

or with the same settings on my 19" CRT

I can tell differences when I change monitor settings, but the difference between 75 and 125 FPS (for me) isn't noticeable. I can differentiate between 5Hz increments on the TFT though, find that a tad weird ^^

You need to see a difference between 75 and 125 fps, nowai!

otherwise my senses are pretty fucked :D

That was not what I ment, I ment that I get huge fps drops sometimes with that ATI SETTING on and the reason I had to use that setting was because archlord do not have any option for hertz.

Probably custom drivers which came with his PC or laptop, else he's just retarded and doesn't realise he's still running catalyst in some form *rolls eyes* ^^

none, just the latest drivers of ati, without catalyst. coz it makes me fpslag :p
