To reset an iPod with a Click Wheel, including:

* iPod nano (3rd generation)
* iPod classic
* iPod (5th generation)
* iPod nano (2nd generation)
* iPod nano
* iPod with color display (iPod photo)
* iPod (Click Wheel)
* iPod mini
* iPod mini (2nd generation)

1. Toggle the Hold switch on and off. (Slide it to Hold, then turn it off again.)
2. Press and hold the Menu and Center (Select) buttons simultaneously until the Apple logo appears, about 6 to 8 seconds. You may need to repeat this step.

I had few freezes in last year, but always "Press and hold the Menu and Center" helped

if you cant repair it, bring it back to zeh shop

wait until the battery is empty

press MENU butteon for 1 Minutes.. So your ipod get resetted but no data is lose...

buying a new one will help for sure :D

Buys iPOD touch, i've one and its great, i can phone with it and surf and listen to music...

restore it through itunes, or install rockbox.

if its a classic/ new model (not touch) just take it to an i-pod store or a re-seller, they should fix it. Ive gone through 4 classics in 4 months, they lock up alot when used with a docking station.

Best solution is to buy an ipod touch tbh ;)

Add it to the other bricked ipods and we can build a new housing estate.

just wait till the battery would be out of energy, stick it to your computer again then, wait till it will absorb some energy and it should works then ;) mine has frozen 2 times already
