mic help pl0x !

so this is the deal i cant speak on comms nd stuff, 1st my mic works propperly and i have turned on mic boost and stuff like that but i think the proplem is with the soundcard couse i cant record with soundrecorder i dont know whats the proplem couse the mic works with all other computers but mine and this has happened a long time ago @ my computer when we i was supposed 2 play NC X with Team ice and i couldnt play couse of this proplem can u guys plz help me
