usb polling rate :(

anyone else having problems or even checked since updating to xp sp3? usbmrs11 wont work anymore i get,

Windows XP/2k3 USB Mouserate Switcher

Operating System : Windows XP


ERROR: Could not find a valid sequence!
Please use Windows' original "usbport.sys"!

deleted usb.sys and uninstalled all usb devces and controllers so windows will reload defaults and still no joy :<

then dunno, just accelfix needs safemode in sp3 and as for me there was an option at nLite when i was ripping windows cd before installation, where i could set it to 500

Yeah, so in fact you can change your mouse rate setting in windows even before installing windows and keep your own win installation file with already changed to 500 mouse rate hz there?

downloaded usbrate.exe, loaded into safe mode installed and now all i as it should be, thanks for the help guys :)
