it's actually the other way around. He is a good DJ, but plays shit tunes.

Thats your opinion np,but there are alot better DJ's who are less recognised,and much much better.

Its all the 12 yo kiddies who love Adigio for strings which make him famous.

Id rate John Digweed much better than Tiesto,although there music styles are differant.

Tiesto went for the big money, and who can blame him, but he was a DJ in the underground scene for quite a while where he used to spin techno and is pretty good at it. I'm not saying he is the best DJ, because he isn't at all, but you are saying he's a shite DJ, which is simply bullocks as well.

He's a good DJ, not the best, and as for taste in music, well that's just personal preference. (and I can tell you that tiesto himself likes to play techno more than the commercial crap he plays the last couple years, just fyi)

Ive seen him live twice at major festivals and he was easily the worst DJ there,and that was the view of most of the ppl there also,obhiously he has some talents or else he would not be were he is.
But i think he is way too overated.
I take back saying he was shite,but he is defenitely less talented than alot of other Djs who dont get 1/4 of the attention he does.

Lately he doesnt care much about the quality of his sets since ppl will dance to it anyway. It's more his name and show that he gets paid for anyway. But I can assure you that before he got famous and big he was a pretty good techno DJ.
