invalid partion table

I can't get passed this msg, it won't recognise my xp cd's except for one version which requires some drivers off a floppy disk which I don't have. Any ideas how I can fix this?

It has happend once before, some crappy dell media direct boots up and tries to do something bit it failed and now I'm stuck!

did you format one of your HDDs?

maybe you destroyed the master-boot stuff on it and now it cant find these data anymore...

Same thing for over ~410 days allready , can't do anything except going to promaster who will get a floppy + floppydisk in my PC and THEN only format which will cost around ~60 euro.

All because of the HD.

Does your windows still boot? Are you trying to format? If so, try getting a linux live-cd, delete all partitions from there, format the MBR, and try the windows cd again (I wouldn't recommend it if you don't have access to another computer with internet and cd writer :D ) And be warned, NOTHING will remain on your harddrive after this process, if you want to save stuff, will need to be on a different hard drive.

Chances are you'll need to re-install senor.

Are you dual-booting by any chance?

If so you could try and get a copy of Partition Magic or something and install it on a floppy. Use it to boot up with and see if you can change the active partition to another OS.

Either way, after looking at your master partition table windows thinks the data in there isn't looking good so reinstalling is your best bet :(

Edit: or use a Linux CD or smth like suggested above :D
