well, i have my first driving lesson in 40 minutes and dont rly know what to expect ! altho i can drive and have driven a few of my mates cars before, having to drive with a random man in the car just scares me! haha :D how did u all feel before ur 1st lesson?

i felt pretty confident, but accidentally showed up bout half an hour late xD My instructor was a nice guy tho, so driving around with him was pretty cool we laughed a lot :)

I felt like an idiot, taking lessons from some guy who cant get a job...

and what did i learn??? zero stuff, after 2 leassons i stopped with driving lessons and i took my driving licsens within a week from when i turned 18 so no problem without lessons

may i ask whats wrong with that? ur allowed to do the license when ur 16(16 and half i think). Ud rather wait till ur 29 and do the license then?

I almost hitted a dog at my first driving lesson, thank god the instructor pushed the brake :D

First lessons are interesting, but when you had 5 lessons or so, you just want to get your license.

has nothing to do with the age. + eventually u'll need the license( or atleast motorcycle license) anyway. why not do it when ur young and quite probably mom/dad pay for it

I the thing I was scared about the most was stalling all the time, but if you've driven a bit before then it should be np so just have some fun.

yea its worth having the lisence cos then you can apply for a wide range of jobs and have freedom

but you also gotta pay for the theory and practical test , then buy a car, get insured, be taxed, it works out alot of dosh

not exactly sure how much that is in the money we have here. but i recon its same here but i went for more and did bike license, finished a week ago. couldve payed alot less if i wouldve done bike license with car license(then i only shouldve payed for the driving lessons for bike not for theory) but since i did em separately had to pay quite alot -.-

eh no it isn't not here anyway.. 12 is the normal.. then maybe some more if they are needed.. 40 plus lessons is just stupid if you haven't already learned everything by 12 -15 you shouldnt be on the road imo!

On my first driving lesson i fucked the car up like 15 times or something xD was pretty funny since all the others got mad and stuff . me and my mate were just in the car laughing while i was trying to get it on the road again =)

afterall the first to third lessons are the best the rest is just repeating ~~

I felt thrilled when I had to go on the highway for the first time :) in 4th gear driving 100 km/h feels gooood :)

My first driving lesson mainly involved getting to know the clutch, and hill starts and such, we didn't drive around that much at all. Then it was turn for some slamlom course and then to traffic.

You'll probably be fine, especially if you have driven before.

Main thing to look out for is other drivers. They are not very tolerant of learners and they tend to drive like retards to overtake/cut you up etc.
