Manchester United's Club statement

Manchester United has issued the following statement regarding Cristiano Ronaldo's future:

Manchester United has watched with growing irritation the comments attributed to Real Madrid over their alleged desire to sign Cristiano Ronaldo. The facts are:

The player is on a long-term contract and his registration is held by Manchester United
The player is not for sale

The Club will have no alternative but to report Real Madrid to the world governing body, FIFA, if it continues to behave in this totally unacceptable fashion. These public attempts to unsettle the player are completely against the regulations and the Club will not tolerate them any longer.

In addition, the Club is certain that they are a distraction for the Portuguese national squad as they prepare for the European Championships. No-one should be in any doubt that Manchester United will do everything in its power to keep its best players.

your wrong mister, ManU is one of the richest football club and i think they dont need that money what they will get for ronaldo. + ronaldo has a long time contract iwth manu, so he cant just leave.

well yea, but the others real usually bought from a weaker team ( like liver,inter and stuff, not saying that these clubs are bad but real was better at that time ) but now when c.ronaldo has won CL and premier i dont see the point moving when hes already getting like 239123908billion £ every week.

well imo too cause the english play alot of physical football and you see c.ronaldo often on the ground, but he has technique what alot of player in premier dont have. But still i would like to see him play for ManU.

man look at what real madrid has done to some of the best footballers careers. For an exaple owen,ronaldo,reyes...

Real Madrid was good i would say 8 years ago. Then there was zidane/Raul etc. But then Figo came, all went downhill IMO.
