http://www.mathwords.com/s/sohcahtoa.htm

Does this link help u? It's just the relation/ratio between "sides of a triangel". Try to find at first the right angle (90°). So u know which side is what. Now u can simple use the rules, which u can find in the link.
Parent
yeh i know that but i dont when to use each of them?
Parent
I don't understand exactly your problem. Could u post a task?
Parent
basicly i dont know when to use sin for example and how.

would it be like sin and angle = something or what?
Parent
Oh fuck. I forgot completly to check crossfire again.

It depends what u have given.

For example:

image: sohcahtoa%20example%201

We want the angel of 8(the angel, crossfire is not supporting the sign so I use 8). We have the value of 3 and 4. The tan ratio of 3 and 4 is the angel value 8. So tan 3/4.

whats there to explain?
your polish you never went to school.

sinalpha=a/c
cosalpha=b/c
tanalpha=a/b
ctgalpha=b/a
That's not exactly.
Parent
Thats easy. But I forgot how to do it.

Well, you have it wrong in the first place...
sohcahtoa
o = opposite
a = adjacent
h = hypotenuse
really simple and easy pneumonic:

silly old harry (sin: opposite/hypotenue)
caught a harring (cos: adjacent/hypotenue)
trawling off america (tan: opposite/adjacent)

is this what you meant?
izi bash :/
