i use both. if i want to play some single tracks or playback a folder i dont hesitate to use winamp. then again i just pop up foobar and have all my musik on one screen which is also very easy to access... and it isnt slow at all :P
Foobar is for power users, not for you're everyday peon.
The "lets waste resources because we can" approach to programming is retarded. Foobar does everything that winamp does and more, and it does everything much better.
It's no contest really, foobar is the most superior audio player released on any platform ever.
It's the only application I truly miss when I use linux and MacOSX.
Also, arguing this with me will result in utter demolition of any point you put forward, as many people will tell you I am a complete software nerd.
