saw same journal like this long time ago ^_^
i guess no one help you back then :<
imo go for an Asus G1 if you can find it somewhere with an affordable price tag
but it's a hell of a lot of money you're paying for an portuguese OS if you're really using it for only school stuff, cus that's a top notch laptop, you don't really need that high performance for writing texts / using powerpoint / :-D
i agree it does suck that the new laptops have only vista OS's :(
dont ask us
What do you need it for? Mainly school? Or are you planning on playing games with it etc?
Personally I would look for a cheaper laptop since this one is a bit overpriced for the specs it has if you ask me :l
I need a notebook to work with word/excel/visio for university projects. I have need to use remote acess sometimes to solve some problems at Hospital (im working here ... Its a stage.. 600 hours of free work). I need to use internet + msn. Nothing more i think. Ofc would be nice if i could play some nice games at summer /weekends at notebook but its not my main priority right now.
Play games = desktop pc.
DON'T BUY ANYTHING THAT HAS TURBO MEMORY IN IT!
Visit some websites from large corporations(e.g. HP, Dell etc.) and buy a business laptop.
Don't boter asking me more questions, because after today I won't remeber that I have posted here...
Good luck!
