manchester city are trying to sign ronaldinho and have flown to brazil to his home to convince him to sign for the eastlands club. while city dont have the best recent history they now have a lot of ambition and money behind the club, and are looking to by CSKA Moscow striker Jo as well.

however, why, if you're a former world player of the year, 28 years old, and looking to rebuild your career and move forward would you be tempted by a club who are also looking to buy steve sidwell (ex reading, chelsea sub) for 7m. sidwell and ronaldinho in the same team -> it just won't happen :p

He was very good , indeed but last season he became partyanimal. Barca doesn't like him anymore, they are creating a new team without ronaldinho in the lineup.

Whine? Platini is right. What you currently have in the UK has nothing to do with sportive competition and tradition. The only positive aspect of the premier league is not tolerating dives and a harder playstyle in general.

tradition in the lower leagues is so strong you wouldn't believe. in the premier league sure theres more money, but that lets the clubs invest in talent that means the football on show is probably the best to watch in europe. anyway its the morning and im not up for a big debate :p

to be fair, although the TV issue is a bit gay, the finals and games that had the UK playing would still most likely be shown on free-to-air

it's just like atm, all the foreign teams in qualis that don't really have any significance to us.

He doesnt mean the fans. He means all the Abramovich's putting tons of money into the premier league teams. The fans are the best England got ;D No riots this Euro ;< Maybe between the Germans and Poland but who knows.
