well you cant get 5.1 in ET. But you can enable some stuff in the software and tbh It's awesome for ET aswell. In true 5.1 games like cs:s it's rly like a wallhack :D
This is when everyone tries to act like they know something about sound equipment, and will as a consequence say their headset is the best headset ever. Despite the fact in 95% of situations, they didn't spend more than 100!
I suggest you make do, and save up for something a little better. Nothing you buy for 30 will be any long time use.
Buy a cheap microphone and buy some Shure earphones. You can use them when you're at your PC and with your phone, MP3 player and laptop or whatever you might have.
Personally, I've an expensive Rode microphone (130 pounds - USB), Shure SE210 earphones (80 pounds, something like that), Audio Technica ATH-AD700's (100 pounds, I was sent them by AT for free), Auzentech Prelude sound card (120 pounds, I was sent it for free) and some other things like a Creative X-Fi Xmod (USB soundcard - 50 pounds).
get a sennheiser to match ur budget. no competition in terms of sound. sennheiser are highly considered in the HIFI world, dont bother with these unknown makes that icemat and razer buy and put their brand on - you just don't know what ur getting.
yeh with that budget i would def go for those, i have a model almost like that and they r v nice - pc160 or sometn (although i use my 220euro sennheisers atm :p)
I got Steelsound 5H V2 USB and I like it :) before that one I just used Ipodears, the sound is ofc better but if you only are gonna use it of ET, than just stick with ipodears if you have that ! :)
