ati drivers ubuntu

I'm trying to get my ET working under Ubuntu but when i start ET the screen is flickering. Also my ubuntu loading screen is in weird colors so i guess i need ati drivers. Ubuntu already installed some drivers through hardware manager but this isn't working.

My second problem is that when i join a server it sometimes says empty cdkey...

Next prob is that my mic isn't working at all.


So help me out!

... you are unable to get the drivers from ATI? Yes, they have binary drivers there, go and follow the instructions.

I am amazed how hard it seems to be for you to do so.

"some drivers" there are DRI and binary drivers, you didn't specify which you had
