DVI on gfx card affecting sensitivity

I just got a new video card (Nvidia 9800 GTX) and have been playing around with it and I've noticed something strange. Since it is a newer video card it has two DVI ports on the back and no VGA port. So I use an adapter to plug my CRT into one of the two DVI ports.
Now the weird thing I have noticed is my sensitivity changes drastically depending on which of the two DVI ports I use. They both have completely different feels. I read online that the port closest to the motherboard is the primary one, however this one feels strange to me. So I'm currently using the other one, the one farthest from the motherboard.
Can anyone explain this? Also it would be helpful for those of you with 2 DVI ports if you could list which port you plug your gaming monitor into, the one closest to the motherboard or the other one. Thanks

same with my 8800 ultra i use it with a 22' inch IBM CRT and i have to use a dvi-vga connection but i use mine in the first dvi-input but that is impossible to change the mouse feeling m8 unless youve changed the nvidia manage 3d options but if you havent then the mouse feel will be exactly the same.

thats just fact m 8 as long as your nvidia manage 3d settings are the same then changing dvi ports does fucking nothing man to the mouse feel, honestly.
definetly true forgot the edit.

Well under Multi-display/mixed GPU acceleration under 3D settings I always change it from the default of 'Multiple display performance mode' to 'Single display performance mode'. I have heard from players and websites like tweakguides.com that Single display is the proper setting if you only have one monitor. That setting also changes sensitivity btw. So what settings do you suggest? Leave all the settings as default?
There is definitely a change in sensitivity with my current settings when I switch between DVI ports, it is like a night and day difference.

well changing it too single display accel is a must if you have got only 1 display man ffs. thats why i asked if you havent changed any nvidia 3d settings then changing dvi port cant do nothing to the mouse feel . only thing i can recommend is between 2 options , either.

1. turn all of the eye candy off with the 3d settings except vertical sync if your monitor and gpu can handle it and for et sync the refresh rate with your fpps obviously. or num,ber 2 wich changes mouse feel.

2. turn vsync off and still turn the eye candy off and set your et settings to r_displayrefresh too 120 then turn your max_fps too 125 . works for me man.
I tried turning down all the control panel settings for ET and it didn't help. I've always used 120 refresh and 125 fps.
