i agree with Fex, they really played bad like in game vs sweden, and how they played must NOT to be compared with 2004 euro.
reasons:
attackers couldnt get the ball, many mistakes from the defenders, nikopolidis having a bad day, plus WHY THE FUCK didnt rehhagel put giannakopoulos in from the beginning :(
slow midfielders, lack of enthusiasm, nonexistant long range shots, only way they could threaten the russians was from corners and long range serves from fauls etc, accuracy of critical passes was low...
anyways, i blame rehhagel and WHY THE FUCK DIDNT HE RECRUIT NEW TALENTS AND HE DIDNT GET RID OF THE 35+ERS
you want more :(
nvm, i have my dutch nationality left, so np4me :)

they are the worst team in the whole tournament
+ they are the only hostcountry who dropped from an ec so early :DD
they still can do it, if they win the third game
switzerland doesn't have any chance anymore
so austria is better :(
They shouldn't believe it honestly xD
but still, also if they won't do it they still had the chance to do it so they are better than switzerland :(
switzerland only played two games and there's no way to get on anymore.
belgium dropped after three games.
they just suck, dont try to make excuses.
The problem is just the missing individual skill. You need a bit luck and everything must working perfect to have success...
retard
i would even call their win 2004 lucky/undeserved with their defense-only and 1 lucky goal which made their games end 1-0.
but well, noone should be looking for exciting football if those excitingly playing, millions earning top players aren't even able to beat a quite bad team with nothing but good tactics...
they deserved it imo :)
however, i am sure that greece would have lost at least 50% of their games 2004 if they would have had to play them a 2nd time :p
Like if those kind of statement exists in football ^^
but there are more choices from löw which i just can't understand. for example why the hell did he take odonkor into the squad and even let him play against croatia? he can run fast, ok, but that's it, his football-skills aren't that special at all... he should have taken marin (who is not even in the squad) or hitzlsperger instead....
had to lol about this:O
Enke was never and will never be better than Lehmann and Adler is just missing any international experience and imo its too early for him this EC. Next one he is or at least should be the Number1.
Lehmann is still one of the top5 keepers worldwide but he just needs to get back into the game. So far i didnt see him doing any major mistakes so it could be worse.
Odonkor would have worked wonders against Croatia if his team would have helped him at all- but he rarely got any good passes.
You are right he is a rather bad footballer but he is damn fast and against the kinda slow croatian defense it normally would have worked well. But why he then put him into the right defensive position is something i dont rly understand.
LoL he is not even close to that. he is one of the worst keepers in this EC with huge mistakes in almost every single match and he has always been completely overrated.
statements like "missing international experience" and "too early" always seem like a cheap excuse to me. there are a huge amount of examples in various countries were young players are playing way better than these veterans even with their lack of experience. of course an experienced player - especially a goalkeeper - has an advantage over others since he often leads his players for a certain part but if he's way better skill-wise... give him the chance.
Adler is the onlyone that is atm close to the level of Lehmann but he is missing any international experience.
no
btw who played WM06 for germany? and who kicked argentinia out of tournament in penalty? guesswho
we don't even have a team in this EC :<<
