Vista?

I can get Windows Vista Ultimate for free and now i don't know whether to format my hdd and get Vista instead of XP, or just stick to XP since it's running smooth atm.

Anny recommendations? :)

i run XP and Vista since July´07...using Vista 2% and XP 98%
install both and decide which u wanna start :)

However most tweaks that you can use in XP are already integrated in Vista

u mean windows 7? and i think its more than 2010, because i doubt it will be released in 2010 and i think vista will still last as future for more than 3 years after the windows 7 release

vista > XP, peoples who says XP are just peoples who didnt try vista / dont know how to work with it and cry about every little thing

I tried it, it used double/treble of my ram, locked my refresh rate at 60hz and was basically full of shit that the average gamer doesn't use :) maybe a dual boot but never running it solely.

none thats what its designed to do. It uses up to 1gb of ram doing nothing :D

Mine uses 1 gb when I play ET on vista ...

Something is wrong with your version , I suppose you have Ultimate ?

And ET uses like 400mb

On Vista games run good, stable fps and Aero is SOO n1ce.

Dont understand why people say vista sucks :(
