5ms vs 2ms

does it realy make a big difference? (using it for Illustrator, photoshop, and ET mainly)
cuz i still havnt bought a new monitor and i am thinking about these 2 now:

- Samsung SyncMaster 2232BW (2ms, around €240-280)
- HP L2245w (5ms, around €270-290, overal better ratings except for the respondstime)

I don't really think so, you may notice it on a longer notice when you're like a couple of hours behind your pc. Just take what you think is suitable for your personal preferences.

fosho!!!!! i like it
first one for sure
i got 6 or 12 ms who cares?
if u want to buy Samsung SysncMaster buy the 226BW, it has 2ms and is one of the best monitors for gaming (Flat ones)
2ms and 5ms lol who the fuck cares about 3ms? do you feel the difference between a 15ms ping and a 18ms ping? don't think so...

It's just a peak value which doesn't say much about the performance of the display. It could have a peak of 2ms at one color, but might not perform better than 20ms for any other color.
you wont notice it
no im lying dont tell mommy
CRT = 0ms
2232bw is kinda cool
2032mw

then you get 1080p hd aswell
1080p is 1920x1200 right? not 1650x1050
Parent
1080p = 1920x1080
Parent
