Depends how bright your configs are. Dark configs -> cyan is better. Bright configs -> red is better.

My chair is black, but I doubt that the color of my chair is of any influence on my in game fps.

It does have influence.
Whenever the chair is black it does not really distract you from playing, while black is a standard color.
When you choose red you get distracted and you'll get more spastic and stuff wich will make you lag !

The way you explain it is still does not influence my in game fps, only the mind will be distracted if the chair is of any flashy color ^^

depends on which kind of chairs u like. i think a cyan coloured chair would look pretty ugly: image: easyChair-cyan

a red one is pretty decent, if u dont have green walls image: fw464_red_chair
