Should I buy CSS?

Was thinking of buying CS:S, only thing holding me back is i'm wondering are there many hackers playing it?


Don't really wanna go up against many cheaters ;(

Its worth those 12 euros ...

and yes there are like 10x more hackers in css but 100x more people playing it, so its pretty okay, furthermore the anticheat support by ESL is really good, and they get banned for demos etc

buy dod:s instead imo, they changed the entire engine and added new stuffs, and CS is just too old now

They can be bought in a bundle as well (DoD:S + CS:S + Half Life 2 Deathmatch)

I wouldn't be worried about cheaters, it's the hitboxes you need to worry about D:

The antilag is pretty bad though, but thats not an issue if you don't play at servers with a high ping and have a decent tickrate.

More hackers than @ ET imo, at least on the publics

(was like 1 year ago i played it the last time, but i played it since 2004)

that's cos there are many more servers than on ET

on VAC secured servers you don't get many hackers

not that many hackers when compared to 1.6, still more than in ET though

1.6 is a lot better but CSS is more noob-friendly so if you are starting CS now you should buy CSS

Well, i've played a bit of condition zero (don't ask why i just have it here) vs bots. Not really sure where CZ comes into that, I think its the same as 1.6?

its not even close to et

i frequently play css and there are 1000s of full servers all the day and night and i didnt see more than 1 or 2 hackers the last 3 weeks


and CSS Football rulz
its awesome :D shooting the ball with the knive into the goal :DDD

CoD5 is coming and it sounds sexy (made by the guys who developed RTCW)
