You should watch the Discovery Channel documentaries called Download: The True Story of the Internet, it would probably change your opinion about "stupid internet programs" and stuff.
Before Mosaic came with their Internet browser the Internet was nothing more than a bunch of computers used by scientists to experiment and send text messages, it would be nothing without Internet browsers!
i tried the 2.5beta i guess, but had promblems savin my passwords. it lost m ylogins regularly, so i switched back to 9.2. i like the new design and the new "new tab" button. its more logical to place it at the right side of the last active tab.
