hello again (graphic card story)

As you know ( or didn't know) i didn't played ET for a whole month. That is the longets time in that 5 year i had to miss ET. This is because my graphic card died.
Now i am looking for another one ( can be around 300 euro).
First i wanted the hd 3870 x2. fantastic card but it is too big (27 cm) and i don't have enough power. I only have 500 power and the minimum is 550.
my second choice is the 9800 gtx, also a very good card , but i can't find anywhere how much power you need. anyone knows? or anyone has a better idea to play videogames uberfast? ( no sli or crossfire cause my motherboard can't take that -.-)

8800GTX would be better I think. As the 9800 isn't really a new architecture.
got 2 8800GTX and, well they suck terrible. i got 800W power atm, and its way not enough...
so i would take a geforce 9 with a 800W. (without SLI2-cards crap). And you should run fine.

cheers

vraag da is op www.tones.be ofzo :/ daar gade deftige antwoorde krijgen ze, en niet zo'n comms zoals ik nu doe ;-)
just get one of the new Ati 4000 serie
well powercolor said mini. 450w for HD 2600, i only had 290w when i bought it and it was ok.

if you take a 9800gtx i'd suggest you 600w (or 500w is also ok eh)

but you should wait for HD 48xx
9800GTX will do it fine with quadcore on 420W afaik at least there was one test on inet about how much power do you need. In my opinion 500W should be enough. 8800GT = price performance, 8800GTS G92 is nice too but around 40eur more.
Dot ex dot exclamation mark underscore underscore.
I think its enough. Depends on the other components in your system.
seems weird and also the comments suggest that the benchmarks are really strange. If it's true ( i doubt it) there will be no hesitation for anybody to buy this card
