ET bigger Lans

I was just looking someone's profile and noticed or i started thinking if any jews have been to any bigger ET lan ?

Then I thought who has came the biggest distance and i recalled Toxic. Am I correct?

Hm what about Quakecon? It's in the United States and idle.ee won it in 2005 and in 2006.

Well that were the only 2 years I could remember. Basically because the first match I ever saw on ETTV, was the final on QuakeCon '05 with idle.ee =D

aha true, my bad, it was in 2006 instead of 2005 :o. Was a bit confused though :)). Unfortunately I'm not an oldschool player, I wish I was, I missed a lot of fun and awesome games like the one you've mentioned etc.

The furthest anyone's come for an ET LAN is, afaik, modus operandi travelling to QuakeCon. That's ~13000km (Sydney to Dallas), which is 33% of the circumference of the world. Talinn to Dallas is ~8500km, and that must be about the furthest any of the Europeans have gone.

In terms of the EU LANs, the furthest players are probably those from northern Finland - from Oulu to Enschede is ~1770km. EDIT: Actually, Malta is further - Valletta to Enschede is ~1900km. Sexyhot might just clinch it though, since Lisbon is ~1950km away, but I have a suspicion he's from somewhere nearer Porto, which is more like 1700km from Enschede.
