CoD: World at War trailer

Well here is the first official trailer for the upcoming WW2 shooter Call of Duty: World at War being made by Treyarch:

Gametrailers HD
Gametrailers SD

- Katana's
- Tree climbing
- Flamethrower

Some of the original RTCW developers are working at Treyarch now on this game, it will be released on various consoles and the PC most likely by the end of the year.

CoD3 sold over a million copies on the Xbox 360 alone (was released on Xbox, PlayStation 2, PlayStation 3, Xbox 360 and the Wii), so it was quite a success sales wise.

CoD3 was a failure. I bought it since it was CoD but omfg, the game itself sucked.

It sold over a million on the Xbox yes, but on the other consoles, how much did I sold there? Afaik not so much.

Can't find sales numbers for them, but less than a million each. I guess the total development costs for the game was less than 10 million, so they probably made a great deal of profit anyway :P

Well, if they didn't, they wouldn't make more I of the series I guess :P
And if it is gonna have katana's in competition then I'm defintly gonna try to play it!

xbox: Can't find sales figures for it.
Total : 3.86m

CoD 4 Sales;
xbox 360 : 6.11m

Nintento DS : 0.11m
Pc: Can't find sales figures for it.( I'd estimate them to be be quite alot..)
Total : More than 10Million (with pc sales estimate included)

CoD2 Sales;
xbox 360 :2.03m
Ps3 : 0.58m
PC : Can't find sales figures ( Take a rough guess?)
PS2 : 2.30m
xbox: 1.39 m (US ONLY)
Total : 6.3m (and more with the PC figures, aswell as xbox europe figures, asia figures.. etc..)

Well, the game will be stripped out from those "new things" when and if they will bring the game to eSports / competitive gameplay.

but I sincerely hope that it will fail, since theres no idea to bring new CoD every year from now on.

It's ridiculous as they release CoD too frequently... imo it seems like they don't take the time to develop a good game.
