Ok this is what I got:

- FinalDestination3.avi (actual movie)
- FinalDestination3.srt (subtitles)
- Nero Startsmart
- 1 DVD-RW disc

Somebody please give me a clear explination and make it work!

i have a cheap dvd player (30€) with usb port who can play every kind of video and recognize subtitles
get one!

make sure the movie and the sub are in the same folder with the same name

other than that there are some annoying "AVI to DVD" programs that you just simply choose the .avi you want and the subtitle you want and make it into an iso that you then burn normally

you need to convert the avi to dvd format unless your dvd player can handle .avi files (not many do). Something like ConvertXToDvd software - takes hours.

omfg .. some say it will be just fine when i burn the avi + subs... some say i have to encode it but all of these shit freeware progs are trail versions and work like shit what the hell is that

HOW FUCKING HARD CAN IT BE TO BURN A FREEKING DVD

Well... u can encode it as a DVD with menu and stuff + subtitles. I prefer using DVD Workshop 2.

Ulead DVD Workshop 2 can include subtitles also. You can make DVDs like those you buy from the shop.

Add a menu etc... it's pretty intuitive. In the you must put everything together and build the DVD.

check if ur dvd supports divx, if it does, just put the sub+avi in the same folder and they must have exactly the same filename (except extention deuuuh). And just burn them as a data file on a disc, solved.

je download een film en subtitel.txt zet in zelfde map openen met bs player en je kan film kijken..
