The war on photographers

Mainly focused on UK citizens but applies to everyone...

QuoteWhen you hear the phrase "helping police with their inquiries", does an image of dedicated selfless citizenry instantly spring to mind? Or do you wonder whether the reality is not slightly more sinister?

How about "voluntarily handing over film to the police".

yeah heard about this... funny if you think about all those surveillance cameras in Britain ;)
In Germany it's not that bad, but people can get really angry if you photograph them on the street. That's why I'm not taking pictures of children. It also sucks that you have to justify yourself for taking pictures with a big camera. As if any terrorist or pedo would use a big DSLR.... I think the paparazzi are to blame, too. Most people seem to think photographers are weird and annoying freaks.
Yeah.
It's not like terrorists are going to get an EOS 1D MII just to take a picture of a building. Well, he could if he wants fine detail but they usually use small hidden cams :{

Care Robert Downy Jnr and Sean Penn can kick the shit out of them.

Oh wait you don't mean the paparazi ;D
when I make pictures I always try to prevent any strangers from being in them. I even edited some persons out of photos that I uploaded onto Wikipedia
and yet you allways get that twat that jumps on your photos to spoil them :/
