i have amd, it was really better but since 1 year intel really gets close or even better so i would say intel imo ^^

intel has been better at dualcore for over 2 years now, amd pwnz them @ octocore though :>

true, i have the last(and best) single core processor from amd and itis rly good and fast.(2 years old now) but if i would buy a new one i would choose intel becuase with dualcore processors intel grabs the lead in quality and speed ^^

Rofl tell me what processor was better under pentium 1, 2 and 3 ? and i would say the best cpu's under the first p4 HT was better aswell.

I prefer AMD b/c they are cheaper and still run great. But I guess right now Intel if you have to money to get the newer ones.

what is this stuff about "NOW intel is better".. intel was ALWAYS better.

simple fact: intel CPUs are manufactured in the US with better quality components and better manufacturing equipment and regulations. AMD are manufactured somewhere in east asia with CHEAPER components

intel is more expensive but worth the extra money.

having said that AMD are still perfectly good.

Intel have always been able to perform alot better at multitasking. Amd was a cheap solution to better performance in gaming.

The one thing that list does not reflect however, is value for money.
