Newsflash: Crossfire Nationscups forces everyone to 62.5 maxpackets. Everybody lags. The end.
THIS SHOULD NOT BE DONE BECAUSE ET DOES NOT HAVE 125 MAXPACKETS.
edit: If you want to be unhittable in the nationscup, use /com_maxfps 111 and thus play with 56 maxpackets.
Option 1)
Limit Maxfps to 100, Maxpackets 100.
Option 2)
Remove the maxpacket limit.

and like meez already explained, packets are fps-dependent, so this will change shit and is random whine, nothing else.
*edit* if you rly have the feeling players who use lower netsettings are less hitable, you maybe should put cg_imagination to 0
95% of the maxpackets-whine is completely retarded and doesn't change shit, this will only make some whiners happy, nothing else.
as if this will make laggers like bozar stop lagging! (or straf, but he's allowed to lag <3)
56 maxpackets makes you less hittable than 100 maxpackets. Fact.
if your position updates 100 times a second as opposed to 56 times a second, you will be more accurately represented to your opponents.
I'm not sure what you are arguing for or against.
More packets (more than 20) won't make you any more accurate for other players, since the server only renders 20 snapshots. The one sending more packets will benefit because he will have less lag.

I've played 125fps most of the times, switched to 100/100 settings about 2 years ago since everyone was claiming it's so much better etc. Switched back to 125fps/120hz 3-4 months later and will never get back to anything lower than that. :Z
With the swapinter (syncro vertical) is the best smooth u can have, so go to 125hz or 120 fps no ?
and triple tampon on nvidia panel.
otherwise to prevent tearing 120hz/100fps, been using it for ages myself and it's the best i used thus far.
like 100fps 100hze
71fps 142hz etc ...
