Torrentleech invites?

Is that true that only v.i.p aka donators users can invite people to site?
I also heard that power users with active accounts and invites before the 'new' rules can still use their invites, if there are any left.
Is there any torrentleech v.i.p user here on crossfire? because i have what to offer ö
