Smoking banned in nl

I just heard smoking got officially banned in all bars and pubs in NL. I'm just wondering, does this include coffeeshops?

You're allowed to smoke weed but no cigarettes n simple tobacco stuff. (afaik after reading a 'german' newspaper :XD)

It's not allowed anymore, and as hope said hash and weed is still allowed, just not mixed with tabacco. But it's not like they will check anyway. I guess it depends on the coffeeshop owner wether they will let you smoke it inside.

Wouldnt make much sense to have ppl smoke it outside as most shops (around the border) got lots of problems keeping 'overlast' out, so they can keep their license.

It is, but the rule doesn't make any sense. It's the same like coffeeshops are allowed to sell soft-drugs, but they're not allowed to produce it themselves or get it somewhere else.

indeed, but like in much compagnie's there are smoking zones. in utrecht there is a coffeeshop called koffiedik wich made a little white shutoff room inside their coffeeshop wich is seporated from the bar. in there u can legaly smoke ur weed+tabacco. i dont know about how the other shops handle it tough.

in estonia it was banned about year ago though you could smoke if there was an extra room for it with special ventilation etc and ovie is correct snus>cigarettes
