hd2400 pro agp

ok ok, got a bit of a graphic card trouble. so my geforce 6800 died the other day , could get constant 125 fps @ r_mode 6 on almost every map... some minor framedrops....

im using a hd2400 atm, since ET is dependent on CPU mostly (I thought!) it shouldnt be a real problem i guess........ but now i have maxfps set to 76 and i get massive framedrops all the time... i mean WTF... does anyone use that graphic card for ET and can tell me if it is really such a bad perfomer? i just cant believe it...

oh yeah, all this hardware sux , is outdated etc. but i only play ET anyway so care!

great reply, as i said the only game i play is ET, i wont waste my money on a decent card, i just would like to know if it isnt possible to play ET on this card, because normally it should be possible.

76 fps is decent enough, but if it drops constantly...either get a better cfg or just waste a slight more money on a card, or buy a better machine, as everytime new games are out, and some are tempting to try...

do u have "agp fastwrite" activated in the bios of your motherboard?

ofc it is... for the others, using agp hotfic ofc.. omega drivers are awfully outdated atm :(

tbh i just unplugged my geforce, cleaned nvidia drivers, put hd2400 card in,installed drivers.. should i go for a complete new windows install?

could help..its always the best to reinstall the os if u got new hardware...but i cant promise anything...

try it,its better then running around with laggy fps :X

edit: http://downloads.guru3d.com/ there u got better drivers...they should be newer than on the official sites...
got not the time to check it out...but give it a try
