Service Pack?

Hello dudes!

My new CPU and Motherboard arrived some hours ago, so I put them in and started my PC. It really didn't want to log in after the Windows screen, so I decided to reinstall my windows, but cd-key not needed (? is it possible ?) while installing. Everything was fine, I just installed the drivers and programs. But MSN says I need SP 2. So I downloaded SP 2, but it says "The cd-key of the windows is incorrect" or smth like that.

I guess there's some contiguity between The SP2 thingie and the not needed cd-key for my windows.

Are there any solution to fix this problem ? (I do not want to reinstall my windows again)

Sorry for my weak english. I hope you understood.

regards adze.

buy a new PC
Well even if you don't want to, just try and reinstall, I got quite a similar thing and after reinstalling it was gone.
using cracked cds = fail
paying 100 euro for a bugged ineffective and unstable operation system = fail

Illegal installation.
use linux

I would format your disk, make a clean windows install, then install SP2 straight away before u install anything else.
I would do the same!

Microsoft.Windows.XP.Professional.Student.Edition.SP3.Integrated-ETH0 <- try this.
idd, student versions are the best
Parent
keyfinder.exe + keygen.exe + wga-fix.exe and u have legal xp :)
not really.

you use a student version then you have legal xp. without any stupid cracks, what so ever.

use this program http://members.home.nl/kkc/windowscrap/ and change ur windows key to the one in the readme file, worked for me
Use a student version, emulate an OEM bios, d/l pre-activated.

try 1 & 2 1st.
