Aint 95 the casual gasoline? If you mean diesel its like 0,10 - 0,20 e cheaper

well diesel used to be around 0,99euro year ago. And here you need to pay TAX for dieselcars..

No. E95 = Ethanol 95%
It's 95% Ethanol + 5% Gasoline

The lower heating value* of ethanol is ~30% lower than that of gasoline, therefore when having the same volume (liter) in your tank you won't get as far as with pure gasoline.

*basically the energy content of 1kg (or here 1 liter)

Looking at wiruz' post reminds me of another possibility:
RON (research octane number)
95 would be what we call "Super" in Germany. 98 should be "Super Plus".

But E95 usually is 95% Ethanol

Depends on where abouts in England u live but where i am its
£1.20 petrol = 1.51 euro's
£1.30 to £1.39 diesel = 1.70 ish euro's
