yes, i need again help

when i installed cod4 ,i had headphones on, and somebody maybe all ready know that cod4 wont work after that another sound device, so i need to fixed that problem......
when i start cod4 with another device it says "iw3mp.exe stoped working" and i cant use that headset what i did use coz mic dont work and i tryed reinstall, but nothing:(

cod4 works better on xbox. Headset just works even when you had it plugged in when you've put in the game for the first time.
