i seriously think all this whine about the recent rtcw2 screenshots is very stupid and pointless, so here are a few screens of the original rtcw singleplayer just so people who didn't play it (seems to be majority of CF users) can see there is no real difference between rtcw and rtcw2 when it comes to reality

as you can see, there was quite a lot of zombies, high voltage ultra realistic guns and of course now and then some other truly realistic oversized creatures
no, seriously, cut the crap and let them finish their job.. there will be enough time to analyze the game (and whine if there are valid reasons for it) once it is released
on the side note, the only thing i'm scared of is the engine it is based on. we all know how fast q2/q3 were and i don't know for you, but to me the movement and general feeling of q4 was extremely strange.. no wonder the game was never alive, that was a real waste of time (development-wise)

So if they learned from their mistakes they should be able to handle this engine pretty well.
was quake4max developped by id software? because the base q4 still feels like shit even after the patches, and seeing how that ETQW also needed a promod, i fear a the same scenario: people will test it, don't like it and go back to ET screaming that it's dead, shit and stupid without testing the promod in a competitive way. this happened with quake 4 and ETQW. So i rly dunno if they learned from their mistakes (although quake live seems to be going in a good direction (engine and gameplay wise) for a baseclient.
correct me if i'm wrong though/
second question :):
how is the ms ime 3.0 is it still worth to buy it when the DA is there? i know have a razer Diamond back (3g) but i don't really like the shape, i'm midsens and i play duel games and ET (hitscan and tracking games; overdrive said it made a difference)
About the mouse: The IME 3.0 and the DA still have a different shape, eventhough many ppl say it's exactly the same. It would be the best to go to a shop and get your hands on both.
Performance wise is the DA 10 times better than the IME 3.0. The 3.0 got huge negative accel if you don't patch your USB to 250hz atleast and does not use the prediction the DA has. That means you can't draw a straight line with it. It's a really different feeling for aiming etc but it feels more natural somehow.
