BRING BATTERY BACK TO COMPETITION

on a serious note though,
just curious as to what it was like from the spectator perspective, the only thing I've heard so far is that "it was boring for us too" from an ettv spec

map was nice imo
Oasis > Battery
maybe without rifle, without panzer, without mines, and engies only getting 2 nades, the maps would be playable
oasis ftw
Besides, let the ETTV-public of this day watch any oldskool game on Oasis with a double fullhold, and before it's finished 95% will have left the ETTV-server.
Three quotes in 10 seconds of looking...
"it were the teams."

edit: oasis > battery
That's got to be warning worthy, insulting an admins basic mathematical capability.
in rtcw that happened quite very often
i am saying that in most competitive rtcw maps, times are much shorter therefore double fullholds are not as boring as in et
The hallway near the axis-spawn is simply a nade/rifle/panzer fest which need to have major tweaking before this map will be any good. Perhaps a hallway from there to the room with the generators in it (2nd axis-spawn exit) But I recon the lower rooms will be in the way.
EDIT:
After noclipping through the map it's actually possible to make a route from the hallways to the lower hall.
Perhaps that could make it more interesting and less spammy.
I've said the same Ronner.
The map may have worked in 2004, and I really liked playing it, but now that teams can spam so efficiently, its just boring.
