dual screen + game

i have a second screen now and id like to be able to play a game on the one screen while surfing/chatting on the other
now my problem is when the game is fullscreen on screen 1 i cant switch to screen 2 without alttabbing rendering the fullscreen game minimized
and that blows.
so is there any way to switch from one screen to another without alttabbing or atleast without the game being minimized?

im using the same setup ( 2 monitors ) and it's not working, since the mouse is "in" the game (otherwise u couldn't e.g. move to left ingame)
or something :S
press the windows button while you are ingame, works with everygame!

He plays also with full screen and can surf/chat on the other screen!

seta r_customheight "1024"
seta r_customwidth "1280"
(little bit bigger than your resolution)
now you can do 'alt+tab'
