Who has experience and plays Enemy Territory with ATI Radeon 9800 Pro and do u get stable 125fps? Is it worth to buy?

et is cpu based game when it comes to fps... so any graphcard with 128 mb will give u 125 fps if u have good cpu

dual-core of same speed will give better results for ET

since the second core carries half the weight of the system

also i assign pb on the other core :)

You cant even call that a graphics card if i look in your profile that card isnt made for gaming... its made for pure office use and webrowsing. And we are talking about 9800Pro here thats a real graphics card for games you know? Its old but still 10 times faster than your onboard card.

You see the topic? I wasnt talking about that there was something wrong with your pc. I was purely talking about the 9800Pro. And that 256MB with your graphics card aint even real memory from your graphics card you know? Its just system memory being used for your graphics card.

I had a 9800XT and it was fine for ET

125 99% of the time with a decent config

ati radeon hd 4850 and 4870 rapes every nvidia card at the same price

i play with a 9800pro+amd athlon 2600 and get most of the time stable 125fps.

no problem. I used it 3 years ago very good graphics card for ET atleast. And for his time one of the best.
