Hardware upgrade needed!

Dear crossfire community,
I would like to upgrade my graphic card & my cpu since they are both crap..
Could someone please help me with what i shoudl buy etc.
I want to change my agp to pci-e...
I have got 30-40 fps ingame & I since people told me fps is much related to cpu in ET I want to upgrade it, I know my graphic card is shit so i want a new one...
gimme some good suggestions plox :D

Well if you're going to upgrade your video card & cpu you will need a new PSU and Mobo and Ram and if you want top end you need to be looking at a budget of 1000 euro. But these days 1000 euro can get you a top end gaming PC prebuilt for you, which has a warranty and garentuee etc

psu = power supply
mobo = motherboard
ram = random access memory ? Lol

depends on what pc you have now.. if you're having such a low fps i don't think you can upgrade it easily... i think you will have to buy a completely new computer

they config i have listed above is really really decent. i believe you will even be able to play rtcw2 at a nice framerate with that. and i think you could get the whole pc (together with everything needed) at around 650 euros including those specs (probably bit more or bit less)

i can't help much with that... you will definitely need somebody from NL :>
btw after a short calculation i actually think it might cost more.. i was checking hungarian prices, and i think that the hungarian forint-euro exchange rates are making a difference. :/

but i'd say a MAXIMUM price would be 800 euros all together.
for the ATI card i recommend the brand Sapphire. they have so called LITE edition cards, which means they don't give away crap games/random software together with the cards, so their prices are the best most of the time. so i recommend Sapphire ATI Radeon HD 4850 LITE

the config can be found at the bottom of the page... just get a friend who can help with searching for the components and who can assemble the whole thing...

I only siwtched mobo and hd, the most X48 were overpriced and X38 is also fine. And I couldn't find a cheaper 320 GB hd, but spinpoint t166's are mostly realy nice hd's.

I think he'll be happy with his PC if he is going to order it, atleast I would be ^^

yes i know i have selected the X48 bcoz we don't have the X38 here in hungary anymore... although i would prefer the X38 over that one :] anyways it's good to know that the prices here are not fucked up at all. but i assume it's really because of the fact that the hungarian currency has become quite strong in the last few weeks

and yes i would be happy aswell ;P i'm thinking to get a same pc as soon as rtcw2 reaches the market... i am also waiting for Intel Nehalem. i'm hoping for the prices to drop a little bit more (i only need mobo/ram/vga/cpu)
