As you maybe know yesterday GoDaddy.com started selling .me domains on first come first served base...
As you can read on mashable.com http://mashable.com/2008/07/17/godaddy-offers-me-domain-names-it%E2%80%99s-a-big-fail-so-far/
"Since then, chaos has ensued, as apparently purchases are either not going through, or going through but the domain name remains available for others to buy. As an illustration of the problem this creates, according to the Twitter message below, at least 8 or 9 people are claiming to have receipts for the domain name aweso.me"
Also, I tried to register too yesterday, I knew about this for 4 months... I was planning to get my "dream" domain, though the site was extremely overladen. I started registering when the countdown stopped, and I was very happy when I saw that my domain was still available. It took me a bit more than 40 mins to checkout, because as I wrote before, the site was extremely slow.
I was more than happy when I got the receipt about I bought the domain, I checked and saw that they charged my card, I got an e-mail too about my order is done and I even printed the receipt.
Shortly after that I tried to register the same domain again...and I was a bit shocked, because it was still available. I thought maybe the updating system is slow or something. After some minutes I was thinking to buy some hosting for the domain, but then suddenly realized that I don't see it in my domain list. Also the domain was available even 1 hour after I got my receipt about I bought it. So, I contacted them and now I (they) think I would be very happy if they give my money back, because I'm sure the domain will be someone others :(
As you know .me is a good extension for almost all english verbs, like its.me, call.me, visit.me, drive.me, f*ck.me etc, etc. Domains like these are extremely valuable (five, six, seven-figure numbers) even without content too...
So, I wanna ask...did anyone of you succeed in registering a good .me domain yesterday? (Price: $39.98 for 2 years)

WOOOOOOOO
Even the slang ones like gim.me, lem.me, ene.me etc.
Maybe you can find some good with "-ing" in the end, like "calling.me", but those start from 3 characters because of "ing" and aren't that good.
For example drive.me was still available after the first period.
But it wasn't available in the third period, so somebody got it with auction.
But another example: thats.me was available yesterday and I think that's premium, also news4.me and many other good domains were still available...that aweso.me is a good example too, people just did not want it in the previous periods...
