and they are only metter if you go to universaty

if you go to intel factory, they dont even ask you about grades, they give you circuit and ask you what is the problem, and tell you to fix it and many more

i will tell you what my teacher for physics told me, and he is have a third degree :~>

school only develop your learning skill, it teach you to adapt and work.
all your exams are nothing, only a dirty paper to hand on the wall at your home.
final exams are for ppl who want to go for university, cuz university wants ppl who can prove they know how to learn.
other then that, when you go to search a job, they dont care how much you get on some math exam, they care how you solve problems they give you, they care about your experiance

Someone who's 18 and starts there might have to suffice with 1150€ a month. But I doubt it's much lower since the minimum wage in Belgium is around ~1100€.

And how would you know anyway? You're 18 and did tests for your Special Units, I doubt you have much experience in trying to get a normal job.

You can get job's like cleaning mens WC's in supermarkets or something, but if you want a decent job you must have gone to schools :)

i guess that is the situation with me as well, haha. not to sound arrogant or smth, but i really didn't care about such things as writing a test or answering to teacher on questions in front of entire class because i knew i was intelligent enough to write it good and if i don't, i would get a better mark 'on the fly' during the next month or smth without learning at all. most of the time i used the time when i had to answer/write tests to make a joke out of it

There is the "mild" option = not important consequences. If it would have been for Yes/No answers maybe I would have scored much less myself. But it's graded. I care about my grades because I have a scholarship and I don't want to lose it. Some people like Cohen don't have such things and don't care about what they do.

scholarship is something as when goverment pays your time at university? if that is it, i have just joined an uni and managed to get it as well (yes, i was in top 4% of all the people who have applied for the same uni like me without learning at all + getting drunk the night before we wrote the test the next morning. i wrote it waaaay better than many of those who perfectly passed high school - all years with all marks at their maximum) so i will definitely start caring about those after uni starts so i don't lose that right. what i was talking about high school time is well.. like i said, i was SURE i would pass it good, i was joking for 4 years, making fun of many things, escaping classes to go to a coffee with friends, etc. really didn't care about such stuff

I was involved in physics olympics with quad in highschool :) so I cared that time also. We all gave s**t on classes and stuff. I only cared about classes where I had good teachers. That wasn't the point of the test / questions.

3. Eating in public places
At this I put some avoidance - Ocasionally because I either know I have good food at home or that I want to be alone (I have these feelings sometimes). Same applies to the home food. I would often rather go out eating a pizza with my buddies than staying home with my parents. I just gave honest answers to all of them and sumed up they hit 40p+.

Well you're more at the "risk without much concern" end of the scale which might explain why you're so surprised... But if you're going to do any programming in the future (as a job I mean) then you'll definitely meet tons of people who would score high on this test. Certain types of people fit better into certain activities, so programming or video games are definitely on the less sociable side. Anyway, that's why the score for even "moderate social phobia" is so high, because there's a wide variety of people. Society can't expect everyone to be born for presentations or parties or whatever. Oh, and I scored in the 50 range too.

TBH I'm curious how you got to be a good programmer at such a young age, to have coded Nexus at ~17 years old is pretty impressive to me.

most of the nexus code was not originally mine :). it's a port of a linux cheat i was working on with some other people who have done most of the job before i joined the coding team, i ported it and tweaked to be windows-compatible on my own though. but all in all, during the development of nexus i was still learning and getting more knowledge about what i know today regarding cheats and general programming

It's not about papertests. It's about final exams on college (like electronics) who can take your scholarship. Or if you want to get to a good college and you need a good grade at the final exam at highschool (baccalaureate).

well i took my final exams for highschool last year, pretty much had a 8 month long holiday, stopped showing upto school at about december time, turned up to my exams when i had them and came out with above average grades, did a similar thing this year too, (50% of my "college grades" comes from this year, 50% next year)

don't see what is wrong about it. many questions are connected. for example, if you're not afraid of talking in front of an audience, you'll probably score 0 on many of other questions

if i took this test smth like 5 years ago, i would have scored 20-30 points more i believe

Well, we had to play a drama from marlow called "Faust" in school once, infront of several hundret people, and I had to play faust. So I'm not really scared of audiences anymore, you get used to it really fast

my score was rather low. i'm not afraid of any of those, but just avoiding a few. now that i fully understood two questions, my score is 5 (#6 - 1, #14 - 1, #24 - 3).

aint having fear of any of those, but i simply try to avoid them depending on what type of people are actually involved into the event. the last one i got 3 points simply because i don't like talking to annoying persons, don't see why that question is part of the test at all

Well... I guess avoidance can be connected with the fear. For example avoiding speaking in public is connected with the fear of saying something stupid or making some mistakes.
